Man recovered from pond in Harleyville
By STEPHANIE PIETROWSKI, T&D Correspondent Thursday, May 15, 2003HARLEYVILLE -- Police confirm that the body of a black male was recovered from a pond along First Bend Road in the Dorchester County town of Harleyville about 8 a.m. Wednesday.
No details were released pending the completion of an autopsy, but Maj. Mike Turner of the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office said that an autopsy was pending.
Turner said investigators are handling the incident as a homicide.
