Victor Lowell Berry -- Orangeburg
Sunday, June 04, 2006Victor Lowell Berry, 84, of 550 Rutledge Avenue, Orangeburg, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Father Michael Polewczak officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Berry was born in Louisville, Ky., a son of the late Victor K. and Ruth Schrader Berry. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville, with a BS in Accounting. He was a retired Procurement Manager from Champion Paper Co. after 42 years of service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Berry was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma T. Berry, and a daughter, Janice M. Berry.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Wade (Pat) Perry of Cheraw, Mrs. Ted (Kathy) Plaisance of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. James (Lisa) Alligood of Orangeburg; two granddaughters, Mrs. Eddie (Laura) Adicks and Mrs. Mark (Stacey) Rutland of Orangeburg; three grandsons, Michael L. Caraway of Columbia, Casey J. and Jesse Plaisance of Baton Rouge, La.; three great-grandchildren, Tyler M. Rutland, Chandler M. Plaisance and Sidney Margaret Adicks.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
