BRANCHVILLE -- Four homes, one church, a live Nativity and even a barn will be spotlighted during the 12th Annual Ruby Ott Memorial Christmas Tour of Homes in Branchville this year.

The tour is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4.

Stops on this year's tour will include the homes of Thad and Jennifer Wimberly, Larry Lavender and Treesa Suggs, Tommy and Gidget Vickers and Debra Perugini's "Pineapple House." Also on the tour will be the Branchville Christian Church and the live Nativity at Sardis Church. Vernon Summer's Barn will also be one of the stops.

The Gena Cleveland Circle of Branchville Baptist Church sponsors the tour. Proceeds are used for mission work, both here and abroad.

The tour was named in memory of Ruby Ott of Branchville. In December 1996, she had agreed to put her home on tour. Ott passed away of a sudden illness before the tour, and her family finished decorating the home and opened it for the tour. Ott is remembered for her love and dedication to Branchville Baptist Church and to her community.

Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the Branchville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. the night of the tour. Advance tickets are available at the Branchville Pharmacy.

For additional information about the tour, call Tracy at 803-274-8585.
