“It’s real important for me to have some guys I know up there,” Ryant said. “After talking with Thomas (Moultrie), Travis (Moultrie) and Shelby (Robinson) I knew it was the place for me.”
Ryant graded out at 88 pecent playing guard on the offensive line while recording 33 takles on defense from his defensive end postion. As far as where he will play next year... “I really want to play linebacker.”
Ryant’s mother Linda says she is excited about her sons opportunity to continue playing football and continue his education.
“I’m so happy for him right now,” she said. “I told him to take on his father’s legacy because he never got the chance to go to college. It’s going to hurt with him going so far away but I’ll make it.”
