Saturday Regionals postponed

Myrtle Beach Regional

MYRTLE BEACH – All NCAA Regional games here have been postponed until Sunday because of rain.

Virginia Commonwealth will play St. John’s at 11 a.m. Sunday in an elimination game. Coastal Carolina will play Clemson at 3 p.m.

The winner of the first game will play the loser of the second game at 7 p.m. Sunday in another elimination game.

Organizers say there will be at least one championship game Monday in the double-elimination format. Times for Monday’s game or games will be determined later.

Columbia Regional

COLUMBIA – All NCAA Regional games here have been postponed until Sunday because of rain.

Fourth-seeded Wofford (30-32) will play No. 2 seed North Carolina State (37-22) at 11 a.m. Sunday in an elimination game.

Top-seeded South Carolina (43-18) will play No. 3 seed Charlotte (48-10) at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The winner of the first game will play the loser of the second game at 7 p.m. Sunday in another elimination game.

The championship game or games will be played Monday at times to be announced later.
