The Cattle Creek United Methodist Church Women will sponsor their third annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3, at the Orangeburg County Fairgrounds.

According to committee member Dana McAlhany, artisans from all over the state are expected to attend the two-day event.

Crafts for sale include outdoor furniture, stained glass, long-arm quilts, frames, jewelry, wooden tools, woodwork, floral arrangements, baked goods and Christmas decorations.

"This is our major fund-raiser, and most of the money is used for missions and other areas of the church," McAlhany said. "While the women have done much of the work, a lot of men got involved, too."

Although most spaces have been assigned, late craftsmen arrivals will have the opportunity to purchase a booth at the door, as space allows.

Lunch will be available for purchase. Menu items include homemade soup, corn bread, hot dogs and beverages.

A quilt drawing will be held for a $1 donation.

Admission to the Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair is free. For more information, call 803-274-8774.
