All-Area Nominations
, Nominations for The T&D All-Area football and volleyball teams are currently being taken.

No player will be named to a team without being nominated by a coach. Nominations should include the player's height, weight, year and statistics and should be sent to blinder@timesanddemocrat.com or phoned in to 803-533-5553.

VARSITY Basketball Program

Coaches are encouraged to begin signing up to The T&D's VARSITY Basketball stat program. The Program will allow stats to be viewed on The T&D Web Site. For information on joining the VARSITY team, coaches should contact 803-533-5553 or 803-533-5532.

Voorhees

LADY TIGERS WIN AT HOME

DENMARK -- The Voorhees College Lady Tigers picked up another NAIA win on Tuesday evening against former EIAC rival Edward Waters College, 56-46.

Voorhees was led by the trio of Rhadja Page, Jennifer Perry and Maryesha Robinson with 12 points each. Edward Waters was lead by Ericka Golding with a game-high 18 points. On Saturday, the Lady Tigers were able to rally back to win 47-42 versus the Reinhardt College Lady Eagles of Waleska, GA at the Lady Hornets Basketball Classic on the campus of Morris College in Sumter. The Voorhees women were down by as much as 20 points in the first half. At halftime the deficit was cut down to 13. In the second half, the Lady Tigers outscored Reinhardt College 33-15 and held them to one field goal for the remainder of the game. Reinhardt College scored 13 of their 15 second half points at the free-throw line. Voorhees was led by Page with 16 points, 11 of which came in the second-half rally. Brittney Whaley followed with 11 points and nine rebounds. The Lady Tigers will be back in NAIA basketball action on Thursday, Nov. 29th at Southern Poly State University in Marietta, GA. The Lady Tigers are currently 7-2 overall.
