DENMARK -- The latest organization to join the anti-litter campaign in Denmark is the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. from Voorhees College.

"We are so pleased that these young men are concerned about the environment and are willing to help us in our efforts to eliminate trash in the Denmark area," said Ted Robertson, Bamberg County Litter Campaign coordinator.

"If everyone would spend just 30 minutes a week picking up trash, we would have less litter and a much more attractive community," he added.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. members recently members assisting with picking up litter around Denmark were Travis Adams, Walterboro accounting major; Benjamin Bailey, Greenville business administration major; Tyrone Jenkins, Allendale business major; Amon Ross, Charleston health and recreation major and Christopher McCrae, Kingston health and recreation major.
