Wilson-Kelley completes tour in Afghanistan

Alfierita Aviva Wilson-Kelley recently completed a six-month tour of Afghanistan with the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, based at Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Wilson-Kelley is the daughter of Lourethia Rivers Newsome and is the granddaughter of the late Curtis (Teenie) Rivers and Rose Lee Shuler Rivers. She is scheduled to graduate Dec. 14 from Troy University, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, at Fort Benning, Ga. Wilson-Kelley plans to seek a master's degree from the University of Maryland.
