Local garden clubs recently spread a bit of Christmas cheer at the Regional Medical Center by decorating Christmas trees in lobby areas and throughout the hospital.
For the past 26 years, local garden clubs have dedicated their time, creativity and resources in decorating Christmas trees for the hospital, a tradition that began after construction of the new hospital was completed in 1981. Each garden club contributes months of hard work in putting together their bea.jpgul Christmas trees.
Many garden clubs participated in decorating trees in various locations in and around RMC this year. The following is a list of participating garden clubs and the respective locations of their trees: Dogwood Garden Club-Orangeburg, main entrance lobby; Bradford Village Garden Club, same day surgery lobby; Hoe 'N Hope Garden Club, the Mabry Center for Cancer Care; Azalea Garden Club, admitting/registration lobby; Dogwood Club-St. Matthews, second floor visitors' elevator lobby; Magnolia Garden Club, third floor visitors' elevator lobby; Elloree Garden Club, fourth floor visitors' elevator lobby; Verdant Garden Club, annex building lobby; Palmetto Gardners, cafeteria; and Wisteria Garden Club, holiday arrangement in medical staff lounge.
