BEAUFORT -- Sterling Lucas led the Bruins with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Joshua Simmons had eight points for the Bruins and Dontrayvian Fredrick added six.
O-W is scheduled to host Dutch Fork tonight.
Academic Magnet 66, Bethune-Bowman 55
ROWESVILLE -- Andrew Williams led Bethune-Bowman with 22 points and JaMichael Sanders added 15 in the losing effort.
Bethune-Bowman (3-9, 2-2) is scheduled to travel to Byrds to take on Woodland tonight.
AJA 51, Bowman Academy 41
EHRHARDT -- Bradley Priester scored 17 and Justin Rentz added 11 as Andrew Jackson Academy cruised to victory over Bowman Academy.
Wesley Bilton led the Bulldogs with 15 while Tripp Looper added 12.
Bamberg-Ehrhardt 53, Williston-Elko 42
BAMBERG -- Jamon Green scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds and eight steals to led the Red Raiders to victory.
Eric Buckner added 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks and Jakhiry Johnson had 11 points, six rebounds, four steals and one block for Bamberg-Ehrhardt.
B-E (5-3, 1-0) is scheduled to travel to Allendale-Fairfax Tuesday.
HHA 60, JDA 23
HOLLY HILL -- Zack Lawley scored 12 points and Michael Simmons added 10 as Holly Hill Academy defeated Jefferson Davis Academy.
Lanier Cason and Clint Westbury each had nine for JDA (8-4).
Woodland 39, Edisto 35
BYRDS -- Ryan Braxton scored 10 points to lead Woodland to a 39-35 win over Edisto.
Darrell Johnson added seven for the Wolverines and Raphael Benefield and DeKendall Carn each had six. Kamrie Connell had 13 points for Edisto and Phill Bell added seven.
Woodland is scheduled to travel to Bethune-Bowman tonight.
Brookland-Cayce 60, Swansea 56
SWANSEA -- Brookland-Cayce defeated Swansea 60-56 in overtime.
DeAndre Jeffcoat led Swansea with 15 points while Trenton Green and Kyndon Smith each had 11. Delanga McCay led BC with 21 points.
BC improves to 12-1 and 1-0 in region play while Swansea falls to 10-3 and 0-1.
Heathwood Hall 57, OPS 42
COLUMBIA -- Corey Littlejohn and Mack Whalen each had 19 to lead Heathwood past Orangeburg Prep.
Jacob Burger led OPS (4-6) with 12 points and Evan Salley had 11. The Indians led 28-26 in the first half. OPS take on Calhoun Academy in St. Matthews Monday.
Clarendon Hall 59, Covenant Christian 50.
COLUMBIA -- The Saints (2-6) earned their second win of the season Thursday by defeating Covenant Christian.
Cameron Oswald led Clarendon Hall with 29 points. Orry Hodge finished the game with 14 points while Ravi Patel posted 12 points.
The Saints will be in action today at Glenforest School.
Calhoun Academy 55, Richard Winn 42
ST. MATTHEWS -- Travis Riley scored 24 points to lead Calhoun past Richard Winn.
Andrew Robinson added 14 for the Cavaliers (4-6).

O-W 74, Battery Creek 42
BEAUFORT -- Shameka Daniels scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Bruinettes past Battery Creek.
Shawanda Hanton added 11 points, six rebounds and six assists, La'Teia Brailey had 10 points and eight steals and Nyashia Bradley had 10 points and five steals.
O-W (11-1) is scheduled to host Dutch Fork tonight.
Woodland 48, Edisto 20
BYRDS -- The Lady Wolverines (7-3,1-0) defeated the Cougars for their first region win of the season.
Woodland was led by LaShana Glen with 13 points. Heather Hill snatched 11 rebounds and LaTazzie Callaway came up with five steals. Raven Wamer, Angel Elmore, and Olivia Britt each chipped in with three steals.
Ebony Maxwell led Edisto with nine points in the loss.
Woodland will take on the Lady Mohawks at Bethune-Bowman at 6:30 p.m.
Estill 57, Denmark-Olar 33
Demark-Olar (2-6) was defeated by Estill.
Estill was led by Courtney Smoak with 18 points. Jamiee Isham contributed 17 points while Kristina Houston finished with seven.
L.jpgah Freeman and Sherreka Johnson were the leading scorers for the Lady Vikings with eight points. Kayla Hartwell chipped in with six points.
D-O will be in action on the road Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Williston-Elko.
Calhoun Academy 56, Richard Winn 29
ST. MATTHEWS -- Rachel Rose had 10 assists as Calhoun Academy improved to 8-2 on the season.
Jessica Lyons added eight assists and Kelsey Sanders had six in the win.
Calhoun hosts Orangeburg Prep Tuesday.
HHA 45, JDA 33
HOLLY HILL -- Holly Hill Academy came from 10-points down at halftime to defeat Jefferson Davis Academy.
Victoria Way led HHA (8-4) with 12 points while Stephanie Peagler and Roberta Shuler each had nine. Megan Huber led JDA with 11.
HHA travels to Faith Christian Tuesday.
Bowman Academy 53, AJA 42
EHRHARDT -- Kayla Easterling had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead Bowman Academy past Andrew Jackson Academy.
Amanda Padgett had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. Courtney Garcia led AJA with 12 points. AJA host Glenforest Tuesday while Bowman Academy hosts William Thomas Academy.
Heathwood Hall 63, OPS 40
COLUMBIA -- OPS fell to 7-3 overall on the season with a loss to Heathwood Hall.
Lauren Holley led OPS with nine points while Madison Rheney had six and Cayce Ulmer and Kate Edwards each had five.

BAMBERG -- Rickey Ramsey had 13 points, four assists and four steals to lead the Red Raiders to victory.
Casey Toomer added 11 points, six rebounds and four steals for B-E and Desmond Kelly had six points and eight rebounds.
B-E (5-1, 1-0) travels to Allendale-Fairfax Tuesday.

COLUMBIA -- Allan Mureh had 10 points to lead Heathwood to victory over Orangeburg Prep.
Joe Schriver led OPS (5-3) with eight points.
HHA 53, JDA 6
HOLLY HILL -- Madison West scored 13 points and Will Sohm added eight points and 10 rebounds to led Holly Hill Academy past Jefferson Davis Academy.
HHA (7-2) is scheduled to travel to Faith Christian Tuesday.
Calhoun Academy 40, Richard Winn 18
ST. MATTHEWS -- Matt Arant scored 15 points to lead Calhoun past Richard Winn.
Calhoun Academy improves to 5-5 with the win.

OPS 30, Heathwood Hall 22
COLUMBIA -- Anna Nash had 10 points to lead OPS (6-1) past Heathwood.
Haley Bozard added nine and Rachel Kitchings had six for the Lady Indians.
HHA 49, JDA 13
HOLLY HILL -- Tressa Hutto had 12 points and Amy Simmons added 11 to lead HHA past JDA.
With the win, HHA improves to 8-1 on the season.

Booster Club Meeting
Edisto High School will have an Athletic Booster Club meeting in the commons area of Edisto High School Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.
Adult Flag Football Tournament
A flag football tournament has been scheduled for Jan. 26 in Walterboro.

JB Martial Arts will host the 2008 Tune-Up Karate Tournament Sat. Jan. 5 at Center Court in the Prince of Orange Mall. The event is free to the public and is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
