" It never ceases to amaze me, and again, I’m a bit confused about what directs the thinking of the City of Orangeburg city officials. Way back on July 5, 2007, it was reported by the T&D that, “DPU and Orangeburg city officials say the decision to cancel the fireworks display was based on bridge construction information provided by S.C. Department of Transportation. Specifically - the bridge replacement on U.S. 21 (Magnolia Street) over the railroad tracks near Zeus Industrial Products.” I’m confused because it seems that either the bridge construction information that was used to support the July 4 fireworks cancellation Does Not apply to the Grand American Coon Hunt event, or the bridge has been repaired. What gives? "
