Women voters/On Hillary Clinton
Earline D. Williams of Denmark: "I think Hillary has a chance to be president. She can make a change because she has leadership skills. Also, her husband, I think, would be helpful to her because he was a wonderful president himself. He did a lot for us. I would have no problem with a woman president. They have taken over leadership roles, and why not now?"
Nancy Foster of Bamberg: "I think Hillary has a good chance of winning. She addresses the issues. She is the only one that has the qualities of experience - she is a Senator, was the First Lady to a U.S. president, and has traveled the world. She, of all the candidates, will get the job done. We need help in the economy, education and health care, which are big issues. I would be very comfortable with a woman president. Women are running the country now. Women are big; now is our time."
Gale Livingston of Orangeburg: "I think (Hillary Clinton) has a good chance, mainly because of her stance on the medical issues. The country is sad shape. I am not sure how I would feel having a woman president."
Debra Allen of Orangeburg: "Hillary Clinton is a strong person. This comes across in her interviews. She is self assured and has experience."
