Elvis returns to Orangeburg
By T&D StaffThursday, January 31, 2008Nationally recognized entertainer Eddie Miles will bring the music of the legendary "King of Rock & Roll" to Stevenson Auditorium at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12. The solo Valentine's Day performance will feature Miles' "A Salute to Elvis," which is touted as one of the classiest tribute shows ever.
Miles' respectful re-creation of Elvis' look and sound have resulted in screams, cheers and standing ovations at his concerts. He has appeared at the Newberry Opera House, the Alabama Theater in Myrtle Beach and appears regularly in Gatlinburg, Tenn. His show also includes an opening performance saluting "Legends of Country Music," including Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins and others.
This special concert is being presented by the Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association. All seats for the show are reserved, and tickets are $25 per person.
