Charlene Keys, vice president for operations and voice with Time Warner Cable's South Carolina Division, will be featured this week in South Carolina State University's Executive Speaker Series.

Keys will speak at noon Wednesday in the fourth floor auditorium of Belcher Hall. She will share with students a lecture entitled "Essential Toolkit for the 21 Century Executive." The lecture is open to the public.

Keys joined Time Warner Cable in 2004 as vice president and general manager of voice, responsible for leading the launch and management of the division's residential voice service.

She is now vice president of operations and voice for Time Warner Cable's South Carolina Division. In this position, she oversees business operations, construction, technical operations, quality assurance and service delivery for voice, video and data products. She is also responsible for the division's wireless line of business.

Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Keys served as managing partner/co-founder of Civature Consulting, Inc., a management consulting firm in Atlanta. She also served in senior management positions at KMC Telecom, MCI WorldCom Inc., Ameritech, Inc. and Sprint Corp.

Keys has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of the State of New York in Albany and a master's degree in business administration from Mercer University in Atlanta.
