SANTEE - The Fishers of Men of Eastern Orangeburg County will present their 5th Annual "Walk the Way of the Cross with Jesus of Nazareth" on Good Friday, March 21.

The event will be held from noon until 3 p.m. on the Village Green at the corner of Bradford Boulevard and Britian Street next to Clark's Motel and across from the Holiday Inn in Santee.

The public is invited, and area churches are encouraged to use their church vans and buses to transport their members and enable them to become "Holy Pilgrims" walking "The Passion of the Christ.

Members of the Fishers of Men will be on hand to provide free devotional booklets and conduct groups and individuals through the "Walk." Golf Carts will be available to assist those unable to make the almost one-mile route, which takes about 30 minutes to make.
