Nancy Smith has been named assistant fair manager of the South Carolina State Fair. Smith is the daughter of Mary S. Smith of Sandy Run and the late William L. Smith.
Smith earned her Certified Fair Executive designation in 2006 and serves on the International Association of Fairs and Expositions State and Provincial Association Speakers Bureau.
Most recently, she has been involved in sponsorship and marketing opportunities at the S.C. State Fair, including integration of exhibits and entertainment. Smith is also the director of exhibits to include special days, promotions, exhibits and set-up in various departments of the fair.
