Attic sale set for Saturday
Thursday, April 03, 2008ST. GEORGE -- Deal seekers and yard-sale hoppers are invited to bring their shopping bags to the Lourie Theater Attic Sale, which will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the St. George Armory in St. George.
Hot coffee and cold drinks will be served to those waiting in line at the sale, and a half-price event will begin at 11 a.m.
"Everything is a bargain, but at the half-price sale, you will really get a bargain," said Barbara Jordan, attic sale co-chair. "If, however, you see something during the sale you really want, you better buy early. If you risk waiting, you may lose your chance!"
Items in so far include rugs, antique frames, oil lamps, service plates, working TVs, furniture, linens and more. All donations are tax-deductible.
