ANDERSON, S.C. — In his first start since undergoing Tommy John Surgery, former Calhoun Academy star Kaleb Davis worked three innings, striking out three without giving up a hit to lead Anderson College past Southern Wesleyan, 8-5.

Davis had help from a couple of faces familiar to the T&D Region. Trent Still, a standout catcher for the Orangeburg Post 4 American Legion team, put the Trojans on the board in the third inning wit ha two-run triple. In the eighth inning, former Dorchester Academy star Walt Quattlebaum led off with a triple before being brought home on a grand slam by Blair Carson.

Anderson improves to 13-31 with the win. Southern Wesleyan falls to 21-12.
