No new officers for SCSU board

South Carolina State University trustees were scheduled to elect new board officers during their meeting Thursday but did not.

Board Chairman Maurice Washington did not return a call seeking comment.

The appointment of any new Board members would, perhaps, throw a "monkey" wrench into the hiring of a new SCSU President. The Board of Trustees may have already decided who they want to appoint to this position -- it has happened in the past. "
