Accident involving entrapment reported at intersection of Highway 4 and Shillings Bridge

A collision has been reported at the intersection of S.C. Highway 4 and Shillings Bridge Road.

Officials were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:23 p.m. and as of 3:22 p.m. were still directing traffic and according to reports, coordinating the airlift of at least one passenger to the hospital.

There were severe injuries reported in this accident, and reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol indicate there was an entrapment involved.

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously through this area of Orangeburg County and to be on the lookout for debris from the accident.

" My cousin was involved in this accident. He was in the car and he had to be rushed to the emergency room. His name is Benny Jennings. He has a wife and 2 kids that need him home && safe. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone reading this could stop for a moment and just say a short prayer to God that everyone involved in this accident is ok and will be able to come home soon.
