Keller serving in Iraq

Army Sgt. Stacy O. Keller is currently deployed as a member of Task Force Marne, one of more than 20,000 soldiers from the Fort Stewart, Ga.-based 3rd Infantry Division and elements of the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Ky. The soldier is serving a 15-month tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Keller is a casualty supervisor with Headquarters, Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. His home station is Fort Stewart.

He is the son of Kayrn D. Keller of St. Matthews. His wife, Lavenia, is the daughter of Herman L. and Janie Mae Shivers of Orangeburg.

The sergeant is a 1999 graduate of Calhoun County High School of St. Matthews.
