Orangeburg Post 4 9, Manning-Santee 3
MANNING -- Orangeburg batted around in the ninth to come back from a 3-1 deficit.
Coty Smith picked up the win for Post 4 after coming on in relief of Don Sandifer who gave up just three hits and struck out seven over seven innings of work.
“The kid pitched a great ball game,” Post 4 head coach Frank Leysath said.
Nick Tritapoe led Post 4 with two hits and two RBIs; Lawrence Fogle had two hits and two RBIs; Dillon Way, Matt Arant and Kory Sanders each had a hit and an RBI. Rick Boyles also had a hit.
Post 4 (2-0) will host Dalzell-Shaw at Mirmow Field tonight at 7.
