The City of Orangeburg Parks and Recreation Department and the Orangeburg County Fine Arts Center will hold a book signing for "Edisto River Companion" from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the Fine Arts Center.
At 5 p.m., author Ken Driggers will address the audience, and photographer Bill Price will make a slide presentation. The paperback books will be available for $12.95 each.
"Edisto River Companion" is published by PCF Press, the publishing imprint of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation, and is about the Edisto River Basin. It is the latest in the PCF's series of books about South Carolina places and people.
"Edisto River Companion" is enhanced with Price's beautiful photography and new, colorful maps of the basin. Among the places listed to visit along the Edisto River is Orangeburg.
