Claflin UNCF Golf Tournament
Saturday, June 07, 2008Claflin University will host its annual golf tournament to benefit the United Negro College Fund on Wednesday, June 18, at Hillcrest Golf Course. The three-person, Captain’s Choice tournament has a shotgun start of 10 a.m. The cost is $75 per person and $225 per team. Prizes will be awarded for closest-to-the-pin and longest drive (men women and seniors). Sub Station II will award a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one on Hole #2 and a 2008 Chevrolet HHR will be awarded for a hole-in-one on Hole #12. All entries must be in by June 13. Refreshments will be served and dinner will be provided following play.
