Council to hold budget hearings

Orangeburg County Council will continue its budget work when it gathers Monday. Council is scheduled to take up second reading and hold public hearings for the county budget and education budget.

In addition, council is scheduled to:

* Consider proposals for janitorial services and auditing and consulting services.

*Consider a petition to alter a portion of White Sands Road.

* Enter executive session to discuss an economic development matter, a contractual agreement and the Lake Marion Regional Water Agency.

Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. the County Administrative Centre on Amelia Street.
