Wright awarded degree

Johnnie Wright Jr., a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist, received a Master of Business Administration degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., on May 16.

Wright completed a three-year sub-specialty training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in

Washington in 2007 and currently is staff urogynecologist at Walter Reed.

Wright is the son of Orangeburg County Councilman Johnnie Wright Sr. and Vernell Wright and the late Gracie Wright of Eutawville. He resides in Rockville, Md., with his wife, Laquita, and their two children.
