Martin graduates GSSM
Friday, July 04, 2008HARTSVILLE — Kelly Martin of Cordova was among 61 seniors from across the state who were graduated from the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville.
She plans to attend Clemson University.
These 61 seniors were awarded $10.9 million in scholarships, with 100 percent of the graduates attending college and earning Life Scholarships; 93 percent earned Palmetto Fellowships, 26 percent were National Merit Scholars and 8 percent were National Achievement Scholars.
