24 high school members presented at Helen Sheffield Federated Girls Club cotillion

The Helen Sheffield Federated Girls Club held its 33rd annual Debutante Cotillion recently at the Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School gymnasium. The theme of the ball was "Moments Like This." Director of the ball was Mrs. Dorothy Brannum. Choreographer was Miss Sylvia Simpson, and Miss Judith Johnson was mistress of ceremonies.

Before the presentation of the debutantes, a short program was presented. Keri Fersner, president of the club's junior division, gave an opening selection; Mrs. Catherine Gordon, president of the Sunlight Club, brought greetings. Courtney Cooper-Davis, president of the senior division, and Destynei Tiller, state president, made special presentations. The 24 high school members of the club presented were:

* Aubriaunna La'Shaye Bodrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Roderick, presented by her father, escorted by Brandon Hicks, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hicks;

* Jordone Chinyere Kwasi Branch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Branch, presented by her father, escorted by Justin Salmond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeryl Salmond;

* Jonovea Corinth Butler, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Walter Butler, presented by her father, escorted by Keyawn Durkese Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fowler;

* Kathleen Nicole Cramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Cramer, presented by her father, escorted by Quentin Ramsey, son of Mr. La'Monte Ramsey and Dr. Kim N. Roper;

* Melainde Nicole Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Carter, presented by her father, escorted by Jayson Leverett, son of Ms. Dora Waymer;
