Authorities have arrested an Orangeburg man in connection with a shooting at a local restaurant.
Clifford Profit, 26, of 1184 Hampton Road, Orangeburg, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after he was spotted walking along Whittaker Parkway.
Profit is facing a charge of assault and battery with intent to kill, according to Orangeburg County Sheriff Larry Williams.
Deputies have been searching for Profit since Saturday, when a 26-year-old Orangeburg man was shot outside the Bojangles restaurant at 110 Chestnut St.
The victim was flown to a Columbia hospital, where his condition has been upgraded to stable.
