'A Magical Storyteller' comes to the library

The Orangeburg County Library will host Mark Daniel, “A Magical Storyteller,” on Friday, July 18, at 10:30 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m. in the Orangeburg County Library Meeting Room.

The program is open to children ages 4-12 years of age accompanied by their parents. The performances are not for groups.

Funding for the event was provided by the Friends of the Library; the Horne Foundation; the Orangeburg County Fine Arts Center; the S.C. Arts Commission, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts; and the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of S.C.

Friday is also the final day of “Catch the Reading Bug!” summer vacation reading program. All medals, certificates, and awards must be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 18 in the Orangeburg County Library.
