Man dies after vehicle overturns
By T&D StaffTuesday, July 29, 2008A Bowman man died Monday afternoon after his pickup truck veered off the road.
The accident occurred as William Pelzer of Hope Lane was driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra east on S.C. Highway 210, six miles east of Bowman, at about 5:55 p.m., according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
His vehicle ran off the right side of the road, he overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road where the truck overturned, Collins said. It was raining at the time.
Pelzer was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
