50th Wedding Anniversary
Friday, August 29, 2008Mr. and Mrs. Gene (Mary) Felkel of Elloree, S.C., announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. A dinner was held in their honor at the Calhoun Country Club by their children.
Mr. and Mrs. Felkel were married 50 years ago on August 24, 1958, in Elloree.
Mr. Felkel retired from Albemarle Corporation in 1999.
Mr. and Mrs. Felkel have 3 children: Ronald (Linda) Felkel of Goose Creek, S.C.; Doug (Debbie) Felkel of Elloree and Julie (Michael) Brown of Elloree. They have 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The couple will be leaving after the celebration on a trip to the N.C. mountains.
