Police investigate robbery, fire at border stop
By The Associated Press Friday, September 12, 2008DILLON, S.C. - Authorities are investigating a robbery and arson at South of the Border.
Dillon County deputies said Thursday no suspects have been named. No one was injured in the blaze.
According to police reports, someone sparked the fire early Wednesday morning after stealing a deposit box from one of the buildings. Only one room was destroyed.
A sheriff’s spokesman refused to give any further details on the case.
A call to South of the Border officials was not immediately returned Thursday.
