Santee Resort Golf Course will be the scene of the 2008 Captain’s Choice Fall Golf Tournament of the Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Oct. 16.

Afterward, the chamber will hold its awards ceremony/business after hours from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Resort Clubhouse, sponsored by Lafarge North America.

The tournament, which will begin with a shotgun start promptly at 1:30 p.m., will be limited to 25 teams.

“We had an extremely good chamber tournament in the spring, and we expect our fall tournament to be an event to remember for all participants,” Executive Director Teresa Hatchell said.

Registration for the tournament begins at noon. The cost for 18 holes of golf, cart fee, refreshments during play and food during the awards presentation at the Business After Hours is $75 per person.

The tournament is open to golf enthusiasts throughout the state. The Santee Resort Golf Course is located on Old Highway Number Six in Santee.

For further information about the golf tournament or to receive a faxed registration form, call 843-563-9091 or 803-496-3831.
