Hyman to speak at TD Club Thursday
By T&D Staff Thursday, September 25, 2008University of South Carolina Athletic Director Eric Hyman will be the guest speaker at the meeting of the Orangeburg Touchdown Club Thursday at The Cineman in the Old Orangeburg Mall.
Orangeburg Prep quarterback Thomas Plumb will be honored as the Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning touchdown in his team’s 31-28 victory over Pinewood Prep. Plumb finished 10 of 16 passing for 118 yards and a touchdown and rushed 25 times for 130 yards.
Tahj Cheeseboro will be honored as the Defensive Player of the Week after collecting 18 tackles in his team’s 42-6 win over Estill.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., and tickets can be purchased at the door.
