John Deere Dubuque Works lays off 50

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The John Deere Dubuque Works factory laid off 50 manufacturing employees Thursday. That's according to plant general manager John May.
May says market conditions are depressed for many of the products made at the factory. May says John Deere was required to take action so they can remain competitive.
Thursday's layoffs come just one month after the plant cut 25 jobs.
The Dubuque plant makes various heavy equipment products.
