First-ever meeting between two teams.
BYRDS -- Having set a school record for victories, the Wolveries now look to earn their first-ever appearance in the third round of the playoffs. Standing in the way is a Monarchs' team which has averaged 52 points in their last three games.
CLASS A
Williston-Elko (10-1) at Christ Church (10-1)
Last meeting -- Won by Christ Church 20-6 (Nov. 18, 1977)
GREENVILLE -- The last time the two teams met, the Cavaliers went on to win their only state championship. W-E rebounded from its shutout loss to Blackville-Hilda with a 48-14 trouncing of Whitmire, while Christ Church has won three straight after suffering its lone loss to Charlotte Latin.
SCISA

Jefferson Davis Academy (6-5) at Andrew Jackson Academy (8-3)
Last meeting -- Won by AJA 48-14 (Sept. 12, 2008)
EHRHARDT -- The second seed Confederates received a first-round "bye" and need just one win to advance to the SCISA title game. The Raiders are hoping for another big effort from Nic Jamison, who rushed for 289 yards and had two touchdowns in last week's playoff victory over Long Cane Academy if they are to advance to the final for the first time since 2005.
Bowman Academy (7-5) at Wardlaw Academy (10-0)
Last meeting -- Won by Wardlaw Academy 34-0 (Sept. 26, 2008)
JOHNSTON -- The Bulldogs were one of just two T&D Region SCISA teams to win a playoff contest. They face a tough order this week, facing the top-ranked Patriots who held opponents to 7.2 points per game this season.
