A Monday night out for an Orangeburg couple ended with the husband getting his clothes burned by his wife, according to an OCSO incident report.

According to the report, the couple began fighting over whether or not they would stay at a night club.

The husband, who wanted to stay, went to his truck to get more money. He said his wife, who wanted to leave, grabbed his shirt and began punching him with both her fists.

The man advised his wife to go home, which she did. However, the man said when he returned home later that night, he found a smoking pile of his clothes in the backyard.

The husband did not wish to press charges but wanted the incident documented.

A Swansea woman's trip home from Orangeburg Dialysis Clinic was derailed after she found her 1993 Mercury Marquis stolen, according to an ODPS incident report.

Another patient at the facility claimed to have seen a man enter the dark blue car, which has damage on the passenger side.

In an unrelated incident, an Orangeburg man was arrested for public disorderly conduct Monday night after he allegedly cursed at a police officer, according to an ODPS incident report.

The officer pulled into ODPS headquarters when he heard someone yelling and screaming loudly, the report said. He said he then saw a man walking erratically and screaming obscenities at him.

The officer told him to stop, but the man walked away. Moments later, the officer caught up with the man, who continued cursing as he was arrested, the report said.
