FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) — Here’s some good economic news in a rather bleak economy. The employment-services company Monster is opening a customer service center near Florence.

Groundbreaking for the 75,000-square-foot facility is set for Tuesday. The facility is expected to open next fall and bring 350 new jobs for the area.

The New York-based company reported 2007 revenue of $1.35 billion, employing 5,200 people across 36 countries.
