"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Philippians 2:3

Kathy Hart, a member of Windsor UMC in Columbia, told about a Salkehatchie group and her experience with trying to deliver some needed supplies to another site. It seems she had to back up and hit a light pole, and wires were down everywhere. It had to happen at a day care center with children running around everywhere. I think the power company was called, and the problem solved. She went back to her site and told her site leader about the situation. It was agreed that everyone was safe, and the situation taken care of.

As she left the site that afternoon, the elderly gentleman who owned the house they were working on came running out of the house, saying, "Mrs. Kathy, Mrs. Kathy, make sure Jesus goes before you."

How true for all of us. Make sure Jesus goes before us. Amen, and amen!
