Alshon Jeffery was still in diapers the last time Marv Levy led the Buffalo Bills into the Super Bowl.

So, it should come as no surprise that Jeffery had no idea who Levy was Monday night. After a quick catchup -- Levy is an NFL Hall of Famer most famous for leading the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls, 1990-93 -- the Calhoun County star receiver seemed pleased enough to learn that Levy would be his coach on the White team in the Under Armour All-American game.

“I’m blessed,” Jeffery said. “Whatever I’ve done ... I’m blessed to be doing all this. Some people don’t get to do anything like this, to go out and have fun. To be coached by an NFL coach like that is going to be great.”

Jeffery will also get his share of instruction from White team assistant, Sherman Lewis, who served 34 years in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. He will also have a chance to catch passes from fellow Southern Cal commit, and ESPN’s second-ranked prep prospect in the nation, quarterback Matt Barkley.

“It’s going to be great,” Jeffery said of the opportunity to play on the same team with Barkley. “It’s something I have to get used to.”

Jeffery’s team will also feature Trent Richardson, ESPNU’s top-ranked running back; Morrell Pressley, the top-ranked tight end; Marlon Brown, the second-ranked wide receiver; Craig Loston, the top-ranked safety and Manti Te’o, the top ranked outside linebacker. He will also be joined by fellow in-state prospects Sam Montgomery of Greenwood, the second-ranked defensive end; South Pointe safety Devonte Holloman, the second-ranked safety and South Pointe’s Stephon Gilmore, the eighth-ranked athlete.

The Under Armour All-American game will be broadcast live on ESPN from Orlando, Florida Jan. 4 at 8 p.m.
