Police arrived and began searching the aisles for the subject, who spotted the officers and attempted to evade them The police, however, were able to follow the odor of alcohol on the subject. The authorities closed off the exits and began cornering the man. The subject went to the back of the store where he squatted down and then stood up while holding on to his pants. An officer later found a DVD player where the man had been.
The man was eventually corralled, and an officer asked him what he was doing in the business. The man said he was shopping. But officers found it suspicious that he would be shopping with his pants around his ankles, according to the report.
The 42-year-old man was charged with public disorderly conduct at that point.
