Monday, March 09, 2009HOLLY HILL -- Farmers & Merchants Bank of South Carolina has announced promotions:
* Tammie Rickenbacker has been promoted to vice president – marketing. She is a 1996 graduate of Charleston Southern University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in business. She is also a 2001 graduate of South Carolina Bankers School at the University of South Carolina. Leaving her hometown of Bishopville, she married Robert Rickenbacker and moved to the Holly Hill community. They have a son, Ashby. Rickenbacker is a member of Holly Hill United Methodist Church and The Potpourri Garden Club. She has been employed at Farmers & Merchants for 17 years.
* Art Shuler has been promoted to vice president — general services. Shuler is a 1990 graduate of Clemson University, where he received his bachelor of science degree in financial management. Leaving his hometown of Cross, he married Dana Sohm and moved to the Providence community. They have two sons, Jay and Brant. He is a member of Providence United Methodist Church and is also involved in several civic organizations as well as being a volunteer in youth athletics. Shuler has been employed at Farmers & Merchants for 14 years.
* Tammy M. Rudd has been promoted to assistant vice president – loan operations. Leaving her hometown of Holly Hill, Rudd now lives in the Sandridge community of Ridgeville. She has two daughters, Tiffany and Jordan. Rudd is a member of Sandridge First Baptist Church. She has been employed at Farmers & Merchants for 15 years.
* Jennifer P Szorosy has been promoted to assistant vice president – branch manager. She is a 2002 graduate of Charleston Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in business and will complete her South Carolina Bankers School degree at the University of South Carolina in July 2009. Jennifer has lived in the Cross area all of her life. She is married to Joe Szorosy, Jr. They have a son, Joey. Jennifer has been employed at Farmers & Merchants for 15 years.
* Stacy D. Weathers has been promoted to assistant vice president. She is a 1997 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she received her bachelor of science degree in retail management and will complete her South Carolina Bankers School degree at the University of South Carolina in July 2009. Leaving her hometown of Holly Hill, she married Trey Weathers and moved to Bowman. They have a daughter, Taylor. She is a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Stacy has been employed at Farmers & Merchants for eight years.
