Marketta Quenterica Hodges, of Orangeburg, S.C. and Jamey Lamonte Milligan, of St. Matthews, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mr. James Lowman of Hopkins, S.C. and Ms. Johnnie Lee Hodges of Orangeburg. She is the granddaughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Thelma) Bonaparte, also of Orangeburg.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of the late Mr. James Milligan, Jr. and Ms. Gertie Mae Milligan. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Jimmie Milligan and the late Ms. Jessie Mae Pope.

Miss Hodges is pursuing her BS Degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. She is currently employed by Time Warner Cable in Orangeburg as Lead Customer Sales and Service Representative.

Mr. Milligan received an Associate Degree in Computer Technology from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College, a BS of Science in Computer Networking from Strayer University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Information System from Strayer University. He is currently employed by South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control in Columbia, S.C., as an Information Resource Consultant II.

The wedding is planned for June 6, 2009, at Edisto Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.
