Houser - Vaughn

Kimberly M. Houser and Wally G. Vaughn, Jr., both of Goldsboro, N.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hook of North, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Mary Davis and Mr. Willie B. Colter, both of Orangeburg, S.C.; Ms. Josephine Benyard of Orangeburg and Mr. Nathaniel Benyard of North.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wally G. (Geraldine H.) Vaughn, Sr., of Alexandria. He is the grandson of Ms. Florence B. Vaughn of Sumter, S.C. and Mr. Joseph C. Hunt of Suffolk, VA and the late Mrs. Rhoda Marie Hunt.

Miss Houser is a 2004 graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences/Child Development and a 2007 graduate of SCSU with a Master of Arts in Teaching/Early Childhood Education. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at Dillard Academy Charter School in Goldsboro.

Mr. Vaughn is a 2005 graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and a 2007 graduate of SCSU with a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. He is currently employed with Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro as a Speech Language Pathologist.

The wedding is planned for June 27, 2009, at St. Mark United Methodist Church in North.
