Elizabeth Nicole Gallman and Brett Remington Butler, both of Orangeburg, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at St. George Baptist Church in Orangeburg, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Gallman of Orangeburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Oeffinger of Orangeburg; Mr. and Mrs. John Reynolds of Orangeburg and Mr. David Keith Gallman of Union, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Butler of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Poole, Sr., of Orangeburg; Mr. and Mrs. Ben L. Butler of Bamberg, S.C. and the late Mrs. Gerry N. Butler of Cordova, S.C.

Rev. Jimmy Hanf officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Ashley R. Gallman of Orangeburg, sister of the bride.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Crystal M. Fulmer of Cope, S.C., friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kayla R. Jolley of Bamberg, friend of the bride; Amanda P. Kilgus of Orangeburg, cousin of the bride; Brittany M. Newman of Orangeburg, friend of the bride and Carlee C. Strock of Cope, friend of the bride.

Best man was Steve Butler of Orangeburg, father of the groom.

Groomsmen were Neil P. Butler of Orangeburg, brother of the groom; Richard A. Coleman of Orangeburg, friend of the groom; Curtis N. Evans of Orangeburg, friend of the groom; Shawn T. Frye of Orangeburg, friend of the groom and Christian Kyle Gallman of Orangeburg, brother of the bride.

Honorary groomsmen were Kenneth F. Kilgus, Jr., of Orangeburg, cousin of the bride and Charles Brook Kilgus of Orangeburg, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Madison R. Gallman of Branford, FL, cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was William Thomas Hadwin Barrineau of Boiling Spring, S.C., cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in The Garden Room at the Orangeburg Mall.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia the couple will reside in Orangeburg.

Mrs. Butler is a 2004 graduate of Edisto High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She is currently employed as a HR Generalist at Concept HR in Warrenville, S.C.

Mr. Butler is a 2002 graduate of Edisto High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Business Management. He is currently employed by Cox Wood Preserving.
