Westbury - Antley
Sunday, June 14, 2009Lindsey Diane Westbury and Adam Lewis Antley, both of Chapin, were married June 13, 2009, at St. George Baptist Church in Orangeburg. The 6:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Reverend James Ervin Hanf, Jr. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lloyd (Babs) Westbury of Orangeburg; the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray (Elizabeth) Gray of Orangeburg and Mrs. William Lloyd (Carol) Westbury of St. George and the late Mr. Westbury. She is a cum laude graduate of the College of Charleston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Mathematics and History. Employed by Lexington-Richland School District Five, she will be teaching Eighth Grade Mathematics at Dutch Fork Middle School in Irmo.
The bridegroom is the son of Ms. Linda M. McDougal of Orangeburg and Mr. and Mrs. Randall David (Bonnie) Antley of Orangeburg; is the grandson of Mrs. Oscar (Sylvia) McDougal of Cordova and the late Mr. McDougal, Mr. and Mrs. John David (Kay) Antley of Prosperity and Mrs. Raymond A. (Rose Maree) Bunton of Branchville. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The Citadel. A graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, he is employed by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety/South Carolina Highway Patrol as a Trooper serving Lexington County.
Whitney Michelle Westbury of Columbia, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kayla Rebecca Easterlin of Bowman, cousin of the bride; Victoria Piñon Garrick of Orangeburg, friend of the bride; and Erin Lane Proctor of Cayce, friend of the bride and groom. Flower girl was Kylie Hope Brennan of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Evan Randall Antley of Cayce, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Shane Allen Black of Bamberg; Corporal Daniel Patrick Corcoran, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, of Mount Pleasant; and Sergeant Reynolds Arlo Satterfield, U.S. Army National Guard, of Greenwood, all friends of the groom. Ring bearer was William Hunter Judy of Norway, cousin of the bride.
Following a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Chapin.
