Erica Sarah Prioleau of Orangeburg, S.C. and Nathaniel T. Taylor, Jr., of Charleston, S.C., were united in marriage at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009, in Charleston.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Janetha Wright-Prioleau of Charleston and the late Mr. Arnold Eric Prioleau. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wright of Estill, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Ms. Wilhelmina Boston of Charleston and the late Mrs. Bernetha A. Stewart-Taylor and the late Nathaniel T. Taylor, Sr.

The Rev. Dr. Bernard J. Gadsden officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Mr. Leon Wright of Estill.

Maids of honor were Ms. Jamila M. Gadsden of Charleston, best friend of the bride and Ms. Ashley J. Patterson of Philadelphia, PA, Godsister of the bride.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Jennifer French Johnson of Springfield, IL.

Bridesmaids were Tammi T. Warren of Alexandria, VA, first cousin of the bride; Courtney C. Young of Columbia, S.C., first cousin of the bride; Carmen L. Young of Columbia, first cousin of the bride; Brittany D. Wright of Columbia, first cousin of the bride; Megan P. Wright of Columbia, first cousin of the bride; Tatum P. Prioleau of Charleston, first cousin of the bride; Lonice B. Moultrie of Charleston, sister of the groom; Shawna Taylor Burnell of Charlotte, N.C., sister of the groom; Noelle O. Blaney of Charleston, best friend of the bride; Shanequa L. Fogle of Knoxville, TN, college roommate of the bride and Demier Z. Richardson of Orangeburg, college friend of the bride.

Junior bridesmaids were Breauna Renee’ Taylor of Charlotte, S.C., niece of the groom and Bailee S. Moultrie, Charleston, niece of the groom.

The bride wore a silk Maggie Sottero gown.

Best men were Lonnie Boston, III, of Charleston, brother of the groom; James Bingley, Jr. of Charleston, best friend of the groom and Rudolph McCallum of Houston, TX, cousin of the groom.

Groomsmen were Omar Ruffin of New York, NY, childhood friend of the groom; Antonio Anderson of Aiken, S.C., college friend of the groom; Herbert Singleton, Jr., of Charleston, childhood friend of the groom; Leon Patterson of Atlanta, GA, first cousin of the bride; Johnny Ellerbee of Newport News, VA, childhood friend of the groom; Ty Caldwell of Rock Hill, S.C., college friend of the groom; Theodore Hamilton, Jr., of Walterboro, S.C. adopted brother of the groom; Patrick Moultrie of Charleston, brother-in-law of the groom; Marvin Johnson of Charleston, cousin of the groom; LaTron Davis of Orangeburg, adopted brother of the groom and Damon Young of Baltimore, Md, college friend of the groom.

Junior groomsmen were Lonnie Boston, IV, of Charleston, nephew of the groom and Brandon Boston of Charleston, nephew of the groom.

Ring bearer was Branden Myles Burnell of Charlotte, nephew of the groom.

Bible bearer was Mason Warren of Estill, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Briana C. Boston of Charleston, niece of the groom.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in The Galliard Municipal Auditorium in Charleston.

After a wedding trip to Waikiki, Hawaii, the couple will reside in James Island, S.C.

Mrs. Taylor received a BA degree in Professional English from South Carolina State University and a MS degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University. She is currently employed by SC State University.

Mr. Taylor recieved a BS degree in Criminal Justice from South Carolina State University and a MS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. He is currently employed by the South Carolina Employment Commission. He is also an Officer in the South Carolina National Guard.
