Satidra Monique Matthews, of St. Matthews, S.C. and Michael Taylor, of Orangeburg, S.C. announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James (Yvonne) Matthews, of St. Matthews. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell (Dottie) Kenley, of St. Matthews, the late Eugene and Rebecca Matthews, of St. Matthews.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy (Frances) Taylor, of Augusta, GA. He is the grandson of the late Robert and Mary Kennerly of Orangeburg and Mr. and Mrs. James (Dorthy) Felder of Orangeburg.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Calhoun County High School and is currently employed as a teller at Wachovia Bank in St. Matthews. The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School.

The wedding is planned for September 5, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Matthews.
